At the beginning of this year, we were approached by one of our pickup location owners, also a DWS parents, about the possibility of being the hot lunch provider. The idea is very different from our core business, but we accepted the challenge and started with a 3 week test launch.
Those first 3 weeks flew by, and we had an amazing time getting to know the kids and learning what they liked and what they didn't like. After a successful test, we continued with the lunch program for the rest of the year.
We are super excited to have been invited back for the 2019-2020 school year! We learned a ton last year and we are anxious to introduce some improvements to both the ordering system as well as the menu. We will be making small tweaks to both over the coming months and we would very much appreciate your feedback along the way.
How It Works
The DWS menu is a 3 week rotating cycle. After the 3rd week, we repeat week 1. Over the course of the school year, we will make small changes to the menu based on popularity and feedback from you and your student/s.
On the next page, you will see buttons to place lunch orders for your students for the next few weeks. After clicking on the button for a particular week, you will see the menu for that week and will be able to place the order for your student.
Currently, we don't have a way to save your contact and billing information for the DWS ordering system, but we are working on that. Each of the forms should pre-populate with your information, however, so it should only take a few seconds after placing your first order.
Our goal is that your kids love and look forward to lunch. In order to do that, we need your help. We welcome any and all feedback. The best way to get in touch with us is the Customer Service email that's given on each page of the ordering system. We have multiple sets of eyeballs in that inbox and your question or concern will be addressed in a very short amount of time.
